Summer 2026 Update: Behind the Scenes and a Look to the Future

Milestone Alert: July 25th marks exactly one year since we officially launched Fantasy Action Figures! We are incredibly proud to hit our first anniversary milestone, and we owe a massive thank you to everyone who has used our guides over the past year.

It has been a minute since our last official site update, and with summer now in full swing, it felt like the perfect time to pull back the curtain on what’s been happening at Fantasy Action Figures. If you’ve noticed a few quirks on the site over the last week or two—specifically with our language translations—you aren’t imagining things. We recently ran into a silent database hiccup that caused our translation pipeline to freeze up completely (June 9th through June the 17th, 2026).

The good news is that we’ve gone completely under the hood, cleared out the database traffic jams, and regenerated the missing files. Everything is back up and running smoothly, and our automated translation engine is fully firing again!

New Daily Content for the Foreseeable Future

To make up for that brief quiet period, we are officially kicking into high gear. You can look forward to a brand-new post every single day for the foreseeable future. Whether you are tracking down historical breakdowns or hunting for variant details, there will be something fresh waiting for you on the homepage daily.

Big Plans for 2027: Real-Time Price Guides

Right now, our price charts give you a great baseline for your collection, but we want to take things a step further. If the site’s popularity and community engagement continue to grow at this pace, our ultimate goal for 2027 is to expand our price guides into real-time tracking engines.

Building and maintaining a live data engine like that takes significant server power and development resources. To make that dream a reality, we will eventually need to monetize the site with ads to cover those operational costs. Your support, clicks, and engagement are what make these upgrades possible, and we are incredibly excited about where we can take this checklist resource together.
