The Black Wizard Witalis Atrox

The Black Wizard Witalis Atrox, an ancient sorcerer from another world, was banished from his homeland and arrived in Kimel Drago, bringing devastation to the once-thriving city of Maggita. His powerful dark magic, capable of causing pestilence and death, is matched only by his archenemy, Nithramous, the White Wizard of Kimel Drago.

Upon his arrival, Witalis Atrox forged an alliance with Igrik Horridus, leader of the Troglodytarum, enabling their population to flourish. When Nithramous discovered Atrox’s betrayal of King Leinad, he cursed the Black Wizard, transforming him into a grotesque, lumbering viper. Now confined to the ruins of Maggita, Atrox relies on his lieutenants, Caine Reapis and Gulik Horridus, to lead his armies in the war against the south.

His personal servants include:

  • Naggana, the two-headed Naga of Maggita.  
  •  The terrible Creeping Darkstone, who watch over the Hage Swamp outside the ruins of the city.
  •    The ScareRook who haunts the rural road to Maggita just after the northern edge of the Hage Marsh.

The Legions of Atrox

From the north of Chaosforos two kingdoms once stood

Maggita and Korbus to their glory as it should

From another place and time, first appearing not to offend

came the wizard Witalis Atrox, to a king he would befriend

A spell of betrayal, a war would ensue

up until then, only peace the two kingdoms knew

Two crowns would fall, two kings the same

on and on Atrox and his army went, and they never stopped again

At the front of the line, the one and only human that would betray,

rides upon a black steed, the fearsome Caine Reapis leading the way

Gulik Horridus and Lupus Warwulf, his generals of war

lead the Troglodytarum and Wilkolach to destruction galore

Among the evil warriors, in their ranks also stood

Gorblur, Gidium, and Bone Stealer cause as much terror as they could

Smurglem, Chastenorg and the masked assassin Hooded Mantik

Fiendish Cornelius and the Gorblagonn terrorize the now frantic

Those who pass beyond the Gravelands that dare gamble their fates

beware of ScareRook, Creeping Darkstone, and Naggana guarding the gates…
